Pandora’s Biscuit Tin
By Martyn Buck
Three siblings face the difficulty of their father’s death and a deteriorating relationship with one another. What will become of the successful family business which has been built up over successive generations? And indeed, what will become of the family home? It all hangs on the will left by their father. But whilst this serves to make some things more certain and gives the family a chance to heal old wounds, for one of the siblings it brings up even more questions for him to come to terms with.
Then a chance discovery by some workmen throws the family into chaos once more. Only this time, it seems that there isn’t a simple answer to the conundrum it raises.
This play ends with a number of scenarios for the audience to ponder, all very plausible.
