A Bunch of Amateurs

The Stratford Players in sleepy Stratford St John are struggling to save their theatre from developers. They hit on the idea to lure fading Hollywood action hero Jefferson Steele to join them in a production of King Lear – only Jefferson believes he is joining the Royal Shakespeare Company in the birthplace of the Bard and is horrified to discover he has signed up to perform with a bunch of amateurs!
